Went out in search of some trout Friday morning, but wound up switching to plan "B" as the morning progressed. Monday Trout haul at the Beach. WT Myers brought down Bill, John, and Ed for some of our spectacular winter fishing. The water was low and still falling as we headed over to the Lake Robin area. I got an opportunity I never really get to have anymore. That is, I got to go fishing with my dad. He moved out of Louisiana after the storm and I don't ever get to take him fishing. He worked hard to put me and my little brother on trout and redfish. I always appreciated it then and I certainly do so now that I am older and looking back on those experiences. The fishing is red hot at the Beach!!! After a stop by Campo’s for bait I headed over to Proctor’s Landing where I picked up Lenny, Todd, John, and Brock at Lenny’s camp.
